Social Media is a vast space to dig in and utilize the available chances to get recognized and make relations with the other professionals. Relationship and networking are becoming huge topics these days on social media.
Social Media term can be used for a single-social media site or a combination of multiple social networking websites like Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Pinterest. Social Media strategy defines your goals and focus on your all social media profiles or your one selected social media website’s account which you are focusing and giving the priority.
Today, who needs social media sites most? Obviously everyone in the space or out of space needs a platform to interact, make contacts and explore the dimensions.
Consultants, Doctors, Engineers, Bloggers, Businessmen and people from all the walks of life can reshape and redefine their momentum through social media utilization. Bloggers and Internet marketers are more closely associated with Social Interaction, obviously they need people to get in touch with them – talk to them – look to their work, and ask them [Bloggers and Internet Marketers] what they [experts] know.
Whether you are a blogger, internet marketer, mom-entrepreneur or small business owner, you need to understand the nitty gritty of today’s social media philosophy.
Adding 500 unknown and irrelevant people, out of the space might not be helpful. If you just keep adding and making contacts with the people for the sake of contact-development and networking, then you will get quantity, not quality – Because your focus would be to get connected with maximum people, without taking care of what they are, who they are and what they do!
You probably won’t know their names and what they do for living. Nowadays pro-bloggers focus on readers engagement, there is no doubt that it’s so important for making your voice louder on the social media space and to take your blog under the spot light, but readers engagement can’t be achieved if you don’t know your audience.
I try to take care of the both aspects normally. So I thought why to miss a single of them!
You have to talk to your social media contacts, try to know them, try to solve their problems and more importantly ask them their problems and if you have the solution to their problems, try to give them.
A single person who gets a solution or benefit from you on any social media site, and then turns out to your subscriber. You must know that a single regular reader would be far better than one-time 50 visitors which you get by sharing your post on the twitter or facebook.
It’s about developing the value of your worth – Prove that how beneficial and helpful you are to the community you are in (Online Community).
Pro-bloggers always talk about developing contacts and relations, and it’s really important to understand the point. Making your better image by helping others would certainly help you out in developing great relations on the social media, which is becoming essence of today’s social media strategy especially for bloggers.
Secondly, knowing your audience would be right choice and identification of your direction – It means you how much you know your blogging-line and niche. If you remain on target and write three high-valued, specific and well-defined articles in a week, it would be better than 10 articles you write in a week without any sense and without proper identification of your niche.
Getting and reaching to the people in the positive manner and making yourself socially acceptable is an art – it’s like a goal and motivation level which blogger or entrepreneur has to set to achieve the success and redefine the benchmarking approach.
Bloggers need to understand how much social acceptability is important for higher conversion in their sales. I have seen and read couple of top bloggers of the world, who talk and speak so nicely about conversion in Affiliate Marketing and writing great content, but when it comes to social media, they often use tactics which are far away from developing the relationship with your followers and friends on the social media.
All they focus on getting followers, conversion doesn’t come with the number of followers – It comes with the right information, getting involved with your readers, by building relationships, by finding the right audience and becoming useful for them – more friendly and useful might be the best things to adopt for turning to be a successful blogger.
They say, huge social media following can turn things for you – I don’t totally agree, if you buy 100,000 twitter and Facebook followers, Can you guarantee to get sales on your blog? Obviously no one can guarantee this – who knows which type of 100,000 followers are going to be attached with you.
You should rather choose highly targeted 1000 followers on Twitter who just talk about your niche and blog’s topic than unknown and target-less 100,000 followers who have no idea about your niche and blog’s category.
Meeting the right audience would actually open the door for you – When you have understood the right audience and importance of reaching to them without wasting much time, then it would become a major part of your social media strategy.
Socially Acceptable means you are going in the right direction – How you would be in the right direction?
Definitely if you are being followed by the type of audience who needs to read the content you are expert of, and you just focus on that type of content, which is actually your niche-related content, then your content will get more value for those readers, if your content has something in it!
You need to turn out to be more impressive – more useful – probably shiny to attract readers and to grab the opportunity that converts you from a just author to a right-person to listen.
Take an example of a Travel consultant – He runs his travel agency and knows well about traveling areas, holiday places and packages. A customer meets him on the social media site like Facebook, and he likes his Facebook page, talks him couple of times on phone and email and asks him about the perfect package and location for the tour.
Now he needs to give the customer something good – Obviously that would be the right advice and perfect plan to choose the place and package!
If customer chooses a location like Thailand to visit and to shopping, and he [consultant] has been there and he tells to the customer that
‘If you specifically want to go for fun and just shopping then you should go to Singapore, you would have great time there, and you would love to do shopping there’
Here comes the next part – Now he advises to go to Singapore, which is not in his package and this means he is losing the customer – and ultimately the customer gets happy on the right advice of that travel consultant. The customer would come back to him if he needs some package next time, and he would refer others on the base of sincerity and right suggestion.
Believe me or not, sincerity and taking the pain for your customers – giving them the value they deserve and working for them so hard and impressing them by your expertise and with best abilities would surely make you prominent in the market.
